Yeah!!! More pictures coming in...

It is Tom and Donna....again; Lunch on Little Cranberry Island with the Beisswengers.  The weather still looks like Maine in June...cool, drizzling and gray.  Except for those smiles!!

Looks more like drinks on Little Cranberry Island!  Yum!  Warms you up!

Smiling....Smiling....Smiling....

Does not anyone miss their Useppa Island Home?!?!?  'Cause we miss you!!!
Not all the fun is had by those that leave Useppa...

.......though we cannot deny it's been quiet.  The Fourth was extremely slow.  Only seven or eight boats in the marina and the Collier was forced to cancel the buffet for lack of reservations.  They still served traditional Fourth Fare...but it was quiet.  The weather has been unreliable, to put it lightly.  For at least two weeks...we had thunderstorms with sustained wind in the 30s-40s mph and rain that came in sideways....not down.  Those that did get here for the long weekend, had a ton of kids.  It was great to have so many young ones running around.

Soriero's had their own fireworks....right out over Rum Cove.  Not bad for amateurs!  Lots of noise...lots of color...lots of multiple explosions.  And, from the ICW, you could see other displays, all around.  And...believe it or not, it actually cooled off....a beautiful night!

AMAZING!!!

AND...the McColgans, Shooks and Trinos have been having a good time....a couple of really great evenings, this week.  Friday night, after Happy Hour, Mike Albert joined the rest of us for a Make Your Own Pizza Party.

Then the following night,  a party convened at Trino's with the invitation to "Come have dinner on the Symonds".  And SOME dinner it was!!

Suzy Trino's message to the Symonds...."Tonight, we had a toast to our "donors",  the Symonds.  The Shooks, McColgans, and Trinos had dinner "on the Symonds".  When you Symonds left for the season, we HELPED clean out your freezer and, tonight, we enjoyed not only your steaks for dinner, we drank your Burgundy wine...which was fantastic!  We missed you though....a lot, and spoke about you with great affection!"  Love,  Vic and Suzy

And, the rest of us say "Thank you" and "Miss You", as well.  It would have been sooo much better if you had been here.

Lots of fun things goin' on with Useppans....

When you put Useppans together with other Useppans., whether on the Island...or not, it's always a good time!!!!

We've heard from the Andersons visiting the Beisswenger's home, on Little Cranberry, which is a fantastic treat!  Having spent a ton of time in Maine, we can tell you....this kind of weather is normal for June!!!  Even for July!  They were said to have had a great time...antiquing and visiting a myriad of small art galleries.  The humidity is sooo good for your skin, too... you know.  And, hair!  Dewy....

Then, we heard from the Trinos...who were visiting with friends in Montauk and hooked up with the Georges for what was defined as a "riotous" dinner.

We had not heard from the Lockharts for awhile....so I "poked" 'em and Aimee sent pictures, immediately.   One of which was on her birthday....on a hike to celebrate.

                           HAPPY BIRTHDAY AIMEE!!
At 52....she is but a babe in the woods!  Looks younger than 40, as well!

She also shared what Kim got for himself....for her birthday

WOW!!

And, what they saw, hanging out in the woods...

Where's Momma BEAR???

And, last but not least.....a beautiful Montana Sunset.

Absolutely gorgeous!!!!
It would appear as though the Lockharts are having a very exciting summer.

Let us hear from you, as well.  Share your good times!!!

Rain...rain.....rain....rain...rain! Aaauuggghhhhh!!!

Ducks are swimming in the yard, driveways have overgrown in just days and our anemometer has stayed above the 30mph mark....crossing 45mph, on occasion. And, not just gusts.  Sustained! The birds love it...soaring high on the currents, between storms.  The ducks sure love it....swimming where they've never swum before.  But....I don't know about the turtles
.
They "duck' in and out...favoring "in".

                                                                 But...still trying "out".

Then, finally....choosing "in"

They sure are cute....in small numbers.  There's no doubt, though

THEY LOVE THEIR USEPPA ISLAND HOME.

Take a look at our web page at www.UseppaIslandHome.com

Swigs and Ligs are at it again....

Craig Ligibel, our recently departed (moved to Annapolis) neighbor and professional photo journalist, reporting in from Annapolis, says....

"Ligs and Swigs in NapTown!!  The Swigert Mooch March continues....6000 miles and counting...en route to New Hampshire via Michigan, Colorado, Minnesota, Maryland and parts in between.  Turkey Run (Swig's NH home) never looked so good!!!"  Show me the way to go home!!  What I want to know is....

Do they miss their Useppa Island Home???

'CAUSE IT REALLY MISSES YOU!!  GLAD YOU ARE HAVING SUCH A GOOD TIME!!!
